This is a two-day course exposing the participants to everything one needs to know about conducting a Domestic Inquiry.
Handling a Domestic Inquiry (D.I.) can be a nightmare to any organization. Due to the legal issues involved with regard to the rights of employees under the laws of Malaysia, it can be an expensive lesson to the organisation. Some of these laws have changed and it is necessary to keep in track with the current changes as to avoid embarrassment and expenses to the organisation. If the case is reported by the local newspapers, it can also damage the reputation and image of the company. If the D.I. is not properly managed it can mean:
- Unnecessary expenditure by way of compensation for wrongful dismissal
- Loss of productivity as resources channeled for the D.I. was wasted.
- Tarnished reputation and image
