Teaching mostly foreigners in its Intensive English Program, an instructor in Business English for the Jaya Jusco’s Career Certificate in Retail Operation program and is also conducting Public Speaking workshops for senior officers from various government agencies as part of their promotion exercise. Besides teaching, she has also written English Language books, the latest being the Year Two SJK package.
Azlina Azmar has had more than twenty years of experience in teaching the English Language and courses related to the language. Majoring in English and Reading, she has taught from the secondary to the tertiary level. Her teaching career began in the MARA Junior Science College and from there she proceeded to Institut Teknologi Mara (now known as UiTM). It was in UiTM that she was exposed to teaching ESP (English for Specific Purposes) courses. During her career with UiTM, she gained tremendous experience from conducting in-house training for various organizations. Among them were Angkatan Tentera Malaysia, Polis DiRaja Malaysia, Institut Jantung Negara, Hospital Besar Kuala Lumpur, Malaysian National Insurance, SIRIM, Renong, Universiti Malaya among others.
Azlina is also a director for Bakaprep Sdn bhd., a training and consultancy based company where she conducted programs for both children and adults. Currently, she is a part time lecturer in Universiti Tenaga Nasional
