SWP 001 – Safety and Health Awareness at Workplace, 18 & 19 September 2023

INTRODUCTION

Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) at Workplace especially at industrial sector, in order to provide awareness to employer and employees pertaining hazard, risk and threat at workplace. The intention of this training is to create awareness people to identify what is hazard ad risk, how to conduct risk assessment, what is corrective and preventive action which should be company apply. This is in line with Malaysian Laws such as Occupational Safety and Health Act 1994, Factory and Machinery Act 1967, and applicable safety management system such as ISO 45001.

Upon completion of this program, participant should be able to:

• Understand of the health and safety requirement at workplace
• Understand the elements of Occupational safety and health management system.
• Able to assess the degree of hazards and risks at workplace.
• Able to evacuate during emergency at workplace.
• Able to understand ergonomic issue at work
