- Discuss and apply the method of HSE assessment of identified process work unit

- Analyse HSE component in any given case studies, accidents and failures

- Introduction to course outline and objectives
- Group introduction and ice breaking
- Describe current regulations and law relating to health, safety and environment (Malaysia HSE) and the role of engineers and technologists as HSE personnel or employee
- Method of HSE assessment of identified process work unit
- Safety issues to the design and operation of equipment to their discipline
- Understanding of the concept of aspects, hazards and impacts, risks of environmental and occupational health and safety management system
- Method of process analysis to identify the attributes of the processes in each of the zone
- Scope of the system and the method on zoning areas for the identification of environmental aspects and occupational health and safety hazards
Day Two (9am - 5pm)
- Method to evaluate the current control methods in preventing or mitigating the aspects/hazards or impacts/risks of the concerns and provide ranking to prioritise effort into managing these concerns
- 4.2 Classify the significance the aspects/hazards and impacts/risks
- Utilised the structured process approach to identify the causes of the aspects/hazards or impacts/risks
- Analyse HSE component in any given case studies, accidents and failures
- The prioritised concerns to set measurable objectives, targets and programmes
