Day One (9am - 5pm)

Module 1: Understanding Financial Planning

This module will cover the basics and life cycle of financial planning. The importance of being intentional with your finances and the underlying forces impacting your current relationship with money is emphasized in this module.

Module 2: Analyzing Financial Statement

This module will help participants assess their current financial situation by detailing their cash flow, net worth, asset, liability, and debt. Strategies to improve credit scores will also be shared in this module. There will be activities on calculating cash flows and identifying assets and liabilities.

Module 3: Making an Investment

In this module, participants will learn about the types of investment and the importance to understand their risk profiles before making an investment decision. Asset allocation strategies will also be shared in this module.

Module 4: Managing Your Risk

In this module, participants will understand risks that can affect their income. Useful strategies to protect their income will also be shared. The importance of having different coverages as a key component of their wealth-building strategy will also be discussed.

Day Two (9am - 5pm)

Module 5: Tax 101

In this module, participants will learn about the different types of taxes and what are the common tax offenses that people always committed. Methods to reduce tax will be shared and the difference between tax rebate and relief will be discussed in this module.

Module 6: Estate Planning (Will & Trust Planning)

In this module, participants will learn how to prepare for the smooth transfer of a person’s assets to the intended beneficiaries when he or she is no longer around. The benefits of having a will or trust will be emphasized in this module.

Module 7: Planning and Budgeting for You Future

This module will identify different budgeting strategies, financial goals, and how to ensure your money is working towards those priorities. SMART Financial Goals will be shared in this module. There will be activities on building your budget and identifying your financial goals.
